PASSES TO THE PUBLIC CONVEYANCES
The pass to the public conveyances is a multiple-trip transport
document not imposing any restriction on the route and term it is issued for.
It is valid for a particular period of time, in accordance with samples established,
and it is a written agreement between the carrier and the passenger. Public-conveyance-passes
can be:
1. Civil – nameless
2. For preference
trips – written in their holders’ names.
The
set of a public-conveyance-pass of a particular number, called for short ‘bearer
pass’, and a season ticket of the same number comprises a transport document
valid for one calendar month, in accordance with the samples established.
The bearer pass or the season ticket alone does not give the right to transportation
by the public conveyances.

of SKGT. One-day, five-day and monthly passes for the integrated city transport
network can also be purchased from external retailers.

Passes for preferential travels - named
1. Passes for pensioners to 68 years.
All pensioners to 68 years, who have a domicile within the territory
of the Sofia Municipality, are entitled to a preferential pass.
Passes are issued against presentation of a passport or ID card, a pension
order and a recent photo.
The term in the passes is marked by a punch.
Such passes can be purchased only from the subscription
bureaus of SKGT.

2. Passes for pensioners older 68 years of age.

Those who have the right to a preference bearer pass are all
elderly citizens over 68 years old and of permanent address on the territory
of Metropolitan Municipality. They can use a bearer pass and a season ticket.
The
bearer pass is personal, and it contains the names, current photograph, and
personal number of its holder; Metropolitan Public Conveyances Co. Ltd., Sofia
issues it only once, within one calendar year.
3. Passes for students
All full -time students in colleges and universities,
with rector's offices within the area of SM, including graduates up to the
first diploma examinations, are entitled to a preferential pass.
Passes are
issued against presentation of a student's book, whereupon enrollment is marked
and a recent photo is attached. It is no more necessary for the students to
present a document which to certify that they are students in a relevant university.
Such passes can be purchased only from the subscription
bureaus of SKGT.
Students, who have purchased a pass for one line only of the Public Transport,
are also entitled to travel articulated the routes of buses No 94 and 280,
against showing their personal pass for the PT.

4. Passes for pupils.
All pupils
in the schools within the territory of SM up to the age of 20 included, who
have been included in the list of the Ministry of Education and Science and
the homes for raising and upbringing children deprived of parental cares.

to travel with the public transport only against presentation of their pupil's
card.

5. Passes for rescuers from the Mountain Control and Rescue
Service
Such preferential
passes are issued during the entire year, within the calendar year, according
to a list, approved by the CEO of the Mountain Control and Rescue Service.
The term in such passes is designated by a punch.

bureau.

Public-Conveyances-Passes for Disabled People
The right
to travel with a bearer pass of reduced price compensated for the full price
of an ordinary pass for citizens by Metropolitan Municipality and a season
ticket, both in accordance with samples established for the public conveyances,
is given to all the disabled people mentioned in Article 28 of the Ordinance
about the Transportation of Passengers and Conditions of
Travelling by the Public
Conveyances on the Territory of Metropolitan Municipality, as well as to their
companions, when the disabled ones have the right to such companions. The
bearer pass is personal, and it contains the names, current photograph, and
personal number of its holder and his/her companions, if the holder has the
right to such. The pass is issued within one calendar year.

Free passes - name passes
1. Passes for war veterans.
Such preferential passes are issued during the entire year, within the calendar
year, against presenting of a certificate, issued by the Military Archive
Office in the town of Veliko Tarnovo, a passport or ID card, a recent photo
and the particular persons should have a domicile within the area of SM.
Such passes are valid for all types of transport, in the public city transport
throughout the territory of Sofia Municipality area, as well as for inter-city
travels within the boundaries of the area.
Such passes should be purchased only from the "Vazrazhdane" ssubscription
bureaus.
2. Passes for disabled soldiers and military servants who
have suffered in times of peace.
Such preferential passes are issued during the entire year, within the calendar
year, according to a list prepared by the Sofia territorial centers for social
care and a recent photo.
Such passes are valid for the public transport the territory of the Republic
of Bulgaria.
Such passes should be purchased only from the "Vazrazhdane" subscription
bureaus.
